Product description

The fabric innovators at Polartec did it again with the creation of Delta, a cooling fabric that utilizes the body's natural cooling process - sweat.  Unlike traditional wicking fabrics that move moisture vapour for rapid evaporation, Delta works harder and smarter to keep the wearer cool by elevating touch points for increased airflow, optimizing moisture dispersal and reducing wet-cling against the skin. We carry a few different styles of Delta. Please see the Specs and Features tab below for details on each style. Some styles offer sun protection and their UPF rating will be noted.  By using both hydrophobic and hydrophilic yarns, Delta regulates dry times and allows better breathability when it's wet.  The patent-pending radiating knit structures keep you cooler in hot conditions by increasing airflow to dissipate heat.  This technology makes this fabric NOT suitable for winter base layers.
