Polartec NeoShell revolutionized 'waterproof'/breathable fabrics by creating a fabric that allows for the continuous release of heat and moisture vapour. The constant air exchange between the inside and outside of the garment keeps the wearer more comfortable while being protected from the elements. Unlike other waterproof/breathables, NeoShell does not require a build up of pressure inside the garment before the moisture vapor moves across the polyurethane membrane.
NeoShell is available in dozens of different styles. To make your search easier, we have categorized our selection into two main groups: Neo Shell without stretch and Neo Shell with stretch. This page showcases all of our styles that don't have stretch. These styles are traditional shell fabrics and can be used on their own to create an outer layer shell jacket or pant or it can be lined with Alpha or Alpha Direct insulation.
