Power Stretch and Power Stretch Pro were developed to expand Polartec's base fabric's durability and range of motion during activity. The majority of elastic base materials can stretch during movement, but lack the tensile strength to recover their original shape and become permanently damaged. By utilizing elastic fibers with enhanced resilience in the stretch construction, Polartec made a performance-fit base fabric that can handle the pressure of demanding physical activities.More information below the colour swatches. We carry a few different styles and weights of Polartec Power Stretch and Power Stretch Pro. This page features our fleece-backed and warm PowerStretch fabrics. They have a lovely smooth-face with warm velour fleece backing. Power Stretch fabrics are comprised of Polyester and Spandex while Power Stretch Pro fabrics are comprised of Polyester, Nylon and Spandex making the face of the fabric a little more durable. The Turbulence Treads colourway has a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish.
