The Endurance Beanie PDF Pattern is a PDF download pattern plus instruction booklet.  The Endurance Beanie is a close fitting hat intended for knits with minimum 50% stretch.  The depth of the hat can be adjusted prior to hemming to suit your preference. It can be worn alone or under a helmet and is perfect for every season!

In cold weather use a warm stretch fleece while in summer stay cooler using one of the lightweight cooling knits Discovery Fabrics is famous for.

The Endurance Beanie is suitable for both children and adults and is perfect for all activities including:

• Running
• Cycling
• Skiing
• Kayaking

For warmth, we recommend Polartec Power Stretch, Polartec Windpro Stretch and Polartec Microfleece.

It can also be made with several of our sun protective knits such as: Breathe Tek, Sun Lite Jersey or Solar Stretch in warmer weather and for those who are sun sensitive.   For summer athletes, Polartec Delta is a sweat activated cooling fabric that keeps you cooler in the heat.

The Endurance Beanie can be used as a comfy hat for those dealing with hair loss due to medical treatments. Bamboo Stretch Jersey or soft Micro Modal Jersey are both excellent choices for chemo hats.

Regardless of your fabric style, be sure the stretch meets the 50% requirement or considering sizing up.  On our website, stretch for fabric styles and colourways can be found under the Specs and Features tab on each fabric's page.
