Chitosante ( Chito ) Interlock is a polyester fabric made with chitosan, biomass from crab or shrimp shells, combined with textile fibres. It is antibacterial, odor resisting, moisture wicking, breathable, fast-drying, anti-static, pill resistant and sun protective with a UPF 50 rating. We have two weights of this fabric, Regular and Lightweight. Lightweight colourways are specified in their colour name.More info below the colour swatches so please scroll down! It has beautiful drape and less stretch than Chitosante Extreme. ChitoSanté is entirely safe for people with shellfish allergies because it is non-protein based.
