We work as quickly as we can to fulfill orders in a timely manner, however due to high order volume it may take up to 5 business days to process and ship your order. During store sales like our Annual November Sale, this can increase up to 15 business days (3 weeks). During our annual physical store closure, from noon on December 24th to January 1st, we operate with a reduced staff to fill online orders. For this reason, order fulfilment may be delayed over this short period.
We ship worldwide to most domestic and international addresses via Canada Post or UPS for Canadian and US customers. Transit times are approximate and are estimated between Major Urban Centers. We are located on Vancouver Island and transit times are often a few days more than Canada Post or UPS’s estimates.
Shipping rates for our products are weight and volume based. Sometimes adding a few more yards of fabric or adjusting your order slightly will reduce cost per yard shipping charges. If you have questions or concerns about shipping cost, please contact our helpful sales team and we will do our best to ship your order at a minimal cost.
If you believe your parcel is lost, please contact us at info@discoverytrekking.com and we will begin a claim with Canada Post. If your parcel has been stolen from your front door, Canada Post will not permit the filing of a claim and we cannot refund your order.

If you choose Small Packet™ USA Air as your shipping method, there is no tracking number and the package is not insured. While this service option is the least expensive, shipments can take longer than estimated due to higher than normal mail volumes experienced by both Canada Post and US Postal Service and you cannot track the package. We are not responsible for lost packages shipped via Small Packet USA Air.

Please note: If you choose International Parcel™ Surface your package is sent by ground/ocean, which takes several months. You will receive tracking from Canada Post however, once it leaves Canada this tracking will NOT update until the parcel has cleared customs in YOUR country and the most up to date delivery information will be available from your National Postal Service.

Important! For UPS Shipping, US customers may be subject to additional fees (duty, taxes or brokerage) once the parcel passes through customs. This seems to happen to customers whose orders exceed $800.00. Customers will be notified of these fees once their package is processed through customs. We have no control or way of knowing what these fees may be and if you select UPS shipping, you are agreeing to pay these fees. We can confirm, via customer testimonials, that the majority of our US customers have not incurred any additional fees from customs.
