Discovery Trekking Outfitters (our parent company) has been manufacturing the Saddle Skirt for years and we are now offering the pattern to home sewists! The skirt was designed to keep the saddle and rider's legs dry during inclement weather. Depending on fabric chosen, the skirt will also provide additional warmth. As the skirt is worn by the rider, it also keeps the rider clean while doing barn chores or before competitions. If you have a rider in your life, this sewing pattern is for you!
