Our popular Oregon Jacket pattern helps you to create a sturdy and warm zippered coat.  The upper thigh-length jacket is fully lined for comfort, plus there are options for adding an insulating layer.  The outside has two cargo pockets with pocket flaps and side handwarmer pockets.  The jacket also has two inside pockets - one with a zipper and one with a velcro closure - perfect for keeping your keys or phone safe.  The front closes with a zipper and has a zipper guard.  Optional inside drawstrings allow you to cinch the coat closed to drafts.  

Suggested Fabrics:
Outer Shell: Waterproof, Waterproof Breathable, or Water Repellent Fabric
Lining: Lightweight nylon or polyester woven or heat reflective lining.
Optional Insulation: PrimaLoft
Interfacing: Self-Fabric

Notions:
Polyester thread, one 28" (71.1cm) separating zipper, one 7" (18cm) pocket zipper or zipper by the yard plus matching sliders, 3 yd (2.7m) 1/8 (3mm) shock cord, 5/8 yd (.57m) 3/4 (19mm) velcro, 1/4 yd (.23m) 2(5cm) velcro, four cord locks.
