This sewing pattern for rain and wind pants is easy to sew and perfect for wearing out into all kinds of weather.  The pull-on pants have elastic waist and zippered legs for easy on and off. Optional double back pockets with secure zippers are perfect compartments for keys and IDs.  

Suggested Fabrics:
Tightly woven Lightweight Waterproof, Waterproof Breathable, or Water-Repellent Fabric.

Notions: 
Polyester thread, two 15" non-separating zippers or zipper by the yard and matching zipper sliders, 1 to 1.25 yd (.91-1.2) 1" elastic; For optional back pockets: two 7 (18cm) pocket zippers or zipper by the yard.
