Multi-Sized PDF Pattern for Kids:  SM - LG     Size Chart

Skill Level:  2, Easy

Sew up a cozy and warm pair of fleece pants for your kids with this simple pattern.  Perfect for cold days (and very popular with children), these pants are easy to sew and quick to finish.  You can hem the pants or add a stretch binding at the hem. You can also add optional zippered front pockets.  The pants are great for layering; and wonderful to wear when playing outside all winter.

Fabric Suggestions:
Main Fabric:  Polartec 200 or other light to medium weight fleece.  Fabric MUST have crosswise stretch (about 30%) for sizing to be accurate.
Pocket:  Any lightweight woven nylon.
Stretch Binding:  4-way stretch nylon/lycra or fold over elastic (FOE)

Notions:
Thread, 3/4 to 7/8 yd (.7-.8m) 1 (2.5cm) woven elastic.
Optional: two 7 (18cm) pocket zippers.
