Make up these mittens or fingerless mittens (Handwarmers) with this quick and easy pattern.  The mittens are fulling lined and have a snug fit for extra protection in cold weather.  The Handwarmers (in adult sizes only) have a double thickness for warmth for activities in cool weather, leaving the fingers free to move.  The Handwarmers are great for office work (working on computers) or for musicians if made in lightweight fabric.  The one-piece constructions makes these mittens and handwarmers easy and quick to make.  They are also perfect for gifts!

Suggested Fabrics:
4-way stretch Polartec fleece with stretch or knit fabric with 20% Lycra. This pattern is designed for 4-way stretch fabric with at least 40% stretch lengthwise and crosswise.

Fabric Requirements (60/150cm wide fabric):
Adult Mittens (1-1.5 pairs): 3/4 yd (.7m)
Handwarmers or Child's Mittens (1-1.5 pairs): 5/8 yd (.57m)

Notions: Polyester thread.
