Polartec fabric innovations led them into the realm of creating performance flame resistant fabrics for the US Military when their existing combat uniforms melted from the extreme heat of IED detonations. Today, the line of flame resistant fabrics are used by many commercial workwear manufacturers. Flame Resistant PowerDry Midweight is just like our regular midweight power dry but with the flame resistant treatment. It's a great base layer fabric or it can be used for long or short-sleeved tops. The hydrophilic interior pulls moisture from the skin and transfers it to the outer layer to speed up drying time.
