Polartec Power Grid is another family of moisture wicking base layer/next-to-skin fabrics that pull moisture from the skin and transfer it to the outer outer surface where it quickly dissipates. It differs from Power Dry® as it features a patented grid construction knit that increases warmth and breathability while reducing fabric mass. The grid pattern also improves the fabric's wicking ability as well as it's compressibility. High Warmth PowerGrid can be used as a heavy-weight next-to-skin base layer or as a medium weight mid layer. It's available in several styles and we have several colours in stock to choose from. High Warmth vs. Mid Warmth
Many styles of high warmth seem so similar to mid warmth, its hard to tell the difference. We simply classify them as Polartec does. Its perfectly fine to mix and match styles. Styles noted with OR (Odor Resistant) are made using Polygiene technology. Polygiene is a silver salt technology that is encorporated into the fabric during the final stages of fabric production. Silver is naturally antimicrobial and therefore inhibits odor causing bacterial growth within the garment keeping your clothes fresher longer.
