Magnetic Sew-in Closures

Magnetic closures can be handy in many applications. The closures we offer are intended for sewing into the garment or project either by hand sewing or by machine. The magnets are covered in transparent PVC which is what you sew through.

Before you sew them, we recommend watching this YouTube instructional video. 

Many people sew them inside linings or facings, but you can also sew them directly behind the right side of the fabric, ensuring you have matching thread in the bobbin as that is the stitch that will be seen from the right side.

Be sure to mark the positive side of one magnet and the negative side of the other, so that they attract each other once sewn! (tips for doing so in above video)
