About Style Falcon
Style Falcon sewing patterns are thoughtfully designed for women in midlife and beyond, making it easier to create a handmade wardrobe that feels comfortable, flattering, and true to your personal style.
Style Falcon patterns are drafted using proportions that differ from the traditional youthful hourglass block commonly used in commercial patterns, offering another fit option for sewists whose bodies are better suited to these proportions.
This includes:

Little bust-to-waist definition
-
Lower bust points, for a “C” to “D” cup
-

About the Diamond Hem Trousers
Cover all the angles with this gem of a slim-fitting stretch trouser. The comfortable high waist coordinates with a variety of tops. Angled front pockets hold your stuff in style. Choose your own adventure at the waist - a hidden elastic channel provides comfort without that "elastic waist" look. Or level up your sewing skills with an invisible zipper.
View A features a designer-look diamond-shaped inset at the hem. Try topstitching, embroidery or color-blocking to make it pop.
View B features a classic split hem and minimal topstitching for a dressier look.
Fabric Choices
The Diamond Hem Trousers require stretch ponte, stretch jersey such as Breathe Tek or Caress, high-stretch denim or Adventure style of Stretch Woven, or other fabrics with at least 50% stretch in one direction, and a bit of stretch in the other direction. The fabric does not need to stretch 50% in both directions. See the materials chart for a list of everything sewers needed to make these trousers.

The Diamond Hem Trousers pattern comes in two layered .pdf formats - A0 and Letter. The A0 file is on two sheets of paper; both are needed for View A or View B, and the sewer will need to tape together one pattern piece. The Letter format is on 29 pages.
