Sew up a suit to stay dry with this pattern!  The Rainier Wind & Rain Suit pattern includes an unlined anorak jacket with cozy handwarmer pockets, a zippered pouch pocket with flap, and a velcro neck opening.  The jacket also has a toggle-locked drawstring at the bottom and elastic cuffs to keep out the weather.  Also includes a pattern for an unlined pull-on pants with an elastic waist and zippered legs for easy on and off.  The pants also have optional zippered back pockets for secure compartments.

Suggested Fabrics: 
Tightly woven lightweight waterproof, waterproof breathable, or water-repellent fabric.

Notions: 
Polyester thread
Jacket: one 9" closed zipper or zipper by the yard, one pkg 1/4 grommets, 3 yd (2.7m) 1/8 shock cord, one cord lock, 5/8 yd (.6m) 3/8 elastic, 1/3 yd (.3m) 3/4 velcro.
Pants: two 15" non-separating zippers or zipper by the yard, 1 to 1.25 yd (.9m) 1" elastic, two 7" pocket zippers or zipper by the yard (optional).
