Multi-Sized PDF Pattern for Adults:  Sizes XS - XL     Size Chart

Skill Level:  2, Easy

This detachable hood pattern can be used to make a warm lined hood that can be conveniently attached with velcro to any existing jacket.  Make a lined waterproof hood that has a drawstring, or a fleece hood with bound edges. The fleece hood can also be worn as a helmet liner.  The front attaches at the throat with velcro.

Suggested Fabric:
Lined Hood - Outer fabric: waterproof, waterproof breathable, or water repellent fabric; Fleece Fabric:  Polartec 200.
Fleece Hood - Fleece fabric: Polartec 200, 300, or Windpro stretch;  Stretch binding:  4-way stretch nylon/lycra binding or fold over elastic (FOE)

Notions:  
Polyester thread
Lined Hood:  1/3 yd (.3m) 3/4 (2cm) velcro, 1-1/4 yd (1.2m) 1/8 shock cord, two small cord locks.
Fleece Hood:  1/4 yd (.23m) 3/4 (2cm) velcro.
